Starting December 2017, Ekoton USA Corporation, part of the EKOTON Industrial Group, joined the members of the Water Environment Federation (WEF); the largest professional organization in the water and sewage sector in the USA. Today, over 34,000 individual members and 75 affiliated Member Associations belong to WEF.
The priority of the Water Environment Federation is to develop technical standards for the water and sewage industry, consultancy, training and publishing activities. The best scientists, engineers, regulators, academics, utility managers, plant operators and other professionals make up the ranks of this organization. Ekoton USA is proud to have become a member of the Water Environment Federation and we hope that our more than twenty years of waste water experience will be an enhancement to the further development of the industry in the USA.
WEF was founded in 1928, and since that time has protected public health and the environment. It is a world leader in the global water sector and connects the best wastewater treatment professionals from all over the world. The association’s mission is to connect water professionals, enrich their expertise, increase the awareness of both the impact and value of water and provide a platform for water sector innovation.
EKOTON Industrial Group was founded in 1995 by wastewater treatment specialists. Today, EKOTON equipment successfully operates in more than 30 countries around the world. The company produces equipment for important applications in wastewater treatment including mechanical treatment, physical-chemical treatment, biological treatment and sludge dewatering.
