EKOTON USA Corporation is proud to announce the completion in June 2018 of an installation of our ESMIL aeration system at the Melody Village Waste Water Treatment Plant in two of their four aeration tanks. This Franklin Township Ohio facility is located on the Summit/Wayne county border and services a largely residential district. Melody Village is a 160,000 gpd plant owned and operated by Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services.
We successfully installed (in spite of NE Ohio spring weather) an Aeration system in one of the four 418 ft2 aeration tanks with our ESMIL fine bubble tube air diffusers in April and completed the second and final tank in June. The purpose of the project was to replace a disc membrane aeration system which was installed during a previous upgrade 30 years ago. Installed ESMIL air diffusers will not only significantly reduce electricity costs but will not require routine maintenance.
